Mike began his professional music career in the 1990's as a music editor for the restored and reversioned classic children's animation series "Casper the Friendly Ghost". This quickly led on to the composing of original music scores for a number of other animation projects for clients, including HIT entertainment and the BBC and kids programming has featured in Mike's work ever since . Animation has not been the only area covered by Mike's work however and several Wildlife commisions have been completed for HIT and Parthenon entertainment along with two series of the drama series "Roman Mysteries" for the BBC.

Mike is also one half of electronic music duo Longstone.
